I'm new to NAM and I just ordered my new 2012 Mini S Convertible! Introducing...Gracie!

Congrats. Where do you live? Is it a place with a lot
of Sunny days? The Cabrio is really fun to own and drive. We hope to see pictures.

 

We live near Charlotte and 2 hours from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lots of scenic driving to do and very much looking forward to it! Will post pictures as soon as we get her.

I'm on my second cabrio, you will really enjoy it. I'm waiting patiently for the roadster in 2012 to hopefully be my third MINI convertible.

 

your car is similar to mine. I was lucky this car was sitting at the port. I just picked it up last week on thursday.

 

Congrats!!! I just ordered mine and it's scheduled for production week#32, 08/12/11. Except for the colors, I ordered the same packages. I live in Miami so I look forward to motoring a lot with the top down.

You're close enough to the "tail of the dragon" to do the event every year. Hope to meet you next year at the event.

 

Update - the car is to be delivered to the dealer on 8/2/11 and we are picking it up on 8/13. Our dealership is 7 hours away so we'll be flying over to pick it up and driving it back and enjoying our trip from VA to NC with beautiful views on the ride back. Can't wait!!!

You will love your convertible. We are a 2 Mini Family. My wife drives a 2009 chocolate brown metallic convertible cooper, and I drive a 2006 pepper white s. This is my third mini and my wifes first. She love hers and it is obvious that I love mine being that it is my third. i am sure that you to will consider another, they are a blast to drive. Hope you join one of the local mini clubs and hope to see you in the carolina's.

One question, does the 2012 premium package not include the Harmon Kardon audio any more?

I did a quick build on cars.com and it came up different than the 2011 you build on mini.com.

I would be disappointed it showed up without the HK.

Sorry to disappoint. The premium package has changed. The sunroof and HK are no longer part of the premium package for 2012. It amounted to an additional $500 price increase on MINIs if you wanted them. You can get the HK as part of a package but it's the technology package.which on the CM is $2000. (center arm rest, HL back up assist, and mini connected.)
