Latest serial numbers in transit

I sorted the WW CM cargo numbers and it looks like the are up to WMW...80602. I am WMW...80644. Anyone else in this same range and have specific info from their MA? Especially ship names or timing?
Thanks!
CN

I tried this trick when I was trying to get Pure Orange across the pond. It's a natural assumption that things are going in order. They ain't. All you can do, unfortunately, is keep checking your number. Over and over and over and over.

You may have this already, but I found it helpful.

Using your port location you can go here
http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSchedules/countryList.do

and get a list of ships names and departure dates.

Thanks for the tips,
I keep finding ships that are loading cars but unfortunately mine is not on it. My MA keeps saying it should be any day.

I don't think I understand all these numbers. Are the cargo numbers you're talking about the same as the VIN numbers? If so, my number seems to be a lot lower than yours, so maybe they aren't in numerical order? My CM was just recently put on a ship (maybe less than a week ago?). Of course, that's IF I'm understanding the numbers correctly.

Cargo numbers and VIN numbers are the same. And, no, they do not seem to run in order. See my note above. Once you get on a boat, this phase is over and you go into the trip across the ocean phase. You need to check out the the how to track information in the First Gear heading above.

Good luck!

There is no rhyme nor reason to the VIN system BMW is using for the Countryman, none at all. Normal? sequencing would have had the WMW followed by every CM in build order, my 02 MCS is that way. I have found lower numbers on 03/11 built CM than on my 10/10 built CM.
IF you can figure the system out, I would love to know it.
Mike

I'm confused. The vin of my car, which was delivered to me on January 21st is WMW...97907. This is a higher number than the series you mentioned.

I'm confused that you are confused. There are several posts above that clearly point out that - - -

1. VINs don't run logicaly
b. VINs don't make any sense the way they are assigned
3. VINs don't ship in any figurable order

Luckilly, I got mine. Everyone else is on their own.

Wow, not a shread of confusion remains on my end. Here I was thinking my car was upward of 97000 others already on the road.

Thanks,

You're welcome. Anything else I can do to help, just let me know. Maybe we can go see how many of them 97000 CMs we can track down? I'll start on the east coast and sweep towards the middle.
