KONIG FEATHERS or SANREMOCORSE STREET 17"??!

Hello my American friends!
This is my first post on your fantastic site; I hope to be in the right section and plase, forgive me if I will write in a wrong way or if I use uncorrect words .... I write from MIlano, Italy.

I would like to ask you a question: I have got a 2011 PW cooper S with black top and mirrors, some carbon JCW parts, Bilstein PSS14 coilover kit and motor tuning. Now, before proceed with the JCW aero kit, I need to change my alloy rims. I have checked all the 304 pages of the topic with the shoots of your R56's and also all the pages of the tread "show me your wheels" and now.... I am really in trouble!!!

Here in Italy we could not have Enkei wheels, only a small selection of Konig wheels and a lot of other european brands but I do not like so much the design... so, here we are.

I think you weel know konig feathers rim; well I like the gold version and the black one but - in padova - there is a comapny which builds fantastic wheels for competition cars. I fall in love whit EvoCorse Sanremocorse Street version 7*17 ET 35 or 38 - 8.0kg per wheel.

Attached shoots on the wheel and on a car.
Please.... help me in choosing the best one! Here in Italy we do not use Konig so much... are those some good wheels, also technically speaking?

Thanks again my friends!
Have a fantastic day from an italian minimaniac!

Welcome.

I like the look of the Evocorse wheels from the pics. Have to say I have not seen them before. At 8 kg, they seem to be pretty lightweight as well.

I can image you haven't never heard about them. Those wheels are manufactured from a small company near Padova and are mostly used for competition.

This is the english site:

http://www.evocorse.com/

They are pretty light and also really strong. Do you know wheight of 7*17 Konig Feathers?

Konig's are very good wheels.
I don't know what the weight is.
Their website does not have very much in the specs area.
I think the EVO Corse is a great looking wheel.
It certainly is light.
I would go with the EVO's myself.
The Feather's are used by alot of people.
You would certainly have a different look than everybody else.

Feathers if I remember correctly run around 17 lbs approximately. I do not see too many people running them on the track. I do not know how strong they are.

I appreciate,
thank you. Here in Italy konig wheels are difficult to see so... i will go with them because are really beautiful to see. A friend of mine uses them on track since 2 years and they are still perfect. He rolls his Mini on Monza racetrack with konig... and they are still ok.

At the end I have choosen the brand new OZ Sparco Assetto Gara matt bronze 17x7 ET42 (available also the 17x7 ET35 but the technical department at OZ told me that it will rub, also if here in Italy the only tyre which we can use on 17" rim is 205/45 )

Attached are two shoots from internet.
Bye bye!

Christian
