Help complete my shopping list. Please.
I've been reading as much as I can in the detailing forum. I've decided on Prima products for my paint washing and protection among other things like glass cleaning and leather conditioning. I've some other miscellaneous things on the list that you all should recognize. The Meguiar's pads are for cleaning and conditioning the leather.
Things that aren't on the list but will be purchasing...
Prima Hydro, Prima Epic, Prima Amigo
I'm picking up my new 2011 MCS this Friday. I'd like to order my detailing kit in the next few days.
One thing I couldn't find detailed information on was Microfiber towels. I'm looking for recommendations (links would be good) for good towels for drying, and for cleaning glass.
Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Here's what I'll be caring for...

and here's my list so far...

THANKS for ANY help and for all the past threads that I've learned so much from!

contact richard (octane guy) he's our resident detailer and is an avid prima product user...besides he gives discounts to NAM members
your list looks good. you need two buckets and Grit guards if you want to prevent swirls, you need wax which i dont see on your list. and you need **QUALITY microfibers that can be found at showcar supplies/adam's polishes...Stay far, far, FAR away from the crap they sell at your local stores. i dont have time right now to go in depth but will return a little later and give you a rundown... Black paint=Full time job
you may want to consider purchasing a foam cannon http://www.autogeek.net/wolfgang-foam-cannon-hp.html it durastically reduces the chance for swirls.

The best towels for drying any car are my Belgian Waffle Weaves...this is not just me saying this..but my customers.
We have a special price for 4 for $30 or singles $12.95

I call them Belgians because the cups are extra deep unlike typical waffle weave towels.

I have polishing towels as well. I really like my All Purpose towels. These work great on even the softest paints without scratching or marring. These are 2 for $4.95. They are low pile towels intended for removing polishes and waxes. They are not intended to remove dirt or dust from paint. You're better off with a deeper pile weave that can trap and pull dust/dirt away from the paint.

Unlike the other stores mentioned in this thread, they aren't run by professional paint polishers using these products everyday on a variety of finishes, at SCD, we use and recommend only the products we actually use and like.
Thanks 3pedal!!!
