i just got my PLX wifi in the mail yesterday and found out i just couldnt get it connected with my Ipad Dashcommand.
I would get the wifi connected but not to the program.. i asked PLX and they said might be my OBD port pin is not "standard"...
I have a 2008 non-S cabrio and i found out in my car's obd port, only 1,4,5,7,8,9,16 is populated... i searched from the net and there is a BMW OBD pins that said:
1 +12V Ignition(in run or start)
4 CGNDChassis ground
5 SGNDSignal ground
7 ISO 9141-2 K-LINEengine (ISO-9141 and ISO-14230), automatic transmission diagnostic (in some models)
8 ISO 9141-2 K-LINE IKE/KOMBI, ABS, ABS/ASR, ABS/ABD, ESP, DSC, Airbag and other electronic equipment
9 TD/RPMEngine rotation speed
16 +12vBattery power

However i found in a diagram from other post where "standard" obd2 should have pins 2,10 (Bus +,-) 6,14 (Can high, low) and 7,15 (K,L line)?
which pins pair do i need to get gauge data or check fault codes actually?
Any ideas please and thanks in advance!

I have a KiwiWifi and it works fine. Your problem is probably in communication between the Kiwi and your iPad. Reconfirm your wireless settings.
