So today I replaced my license plate lights with leds from superbrightleds.com. The old lights worked fine except one was burned out and both were corroded. I installed the new ones and they work as they are supposed to except when my lights are off they pulse. About once every 1.5 seconds they flash. Even with the car off.

Now these being leds I'm not really worried about the battery drain I'm just curious about the possible cause.

I waited till night fall to check how the lights looked with the car off. Walked out to the car and lights are off. Unlocked door with remote, lights start flashing again. Turned lights on, lights operate like normal. Turn lights off, lights start flashing again. Lock doors with remote, lights stay on but are dim.
