Just curious if anyone might have the paint code for the JCW F1? Just bought a 05 Cooper S that I will be starting the repaint on soon and would like to match the F1 colour as close as I can. It is BRG right now but I can tell from photos that the F1 is a solid colour and has a more green hue than the blue hue of the met paint. Any help would be great.

since no one has attempted a reply here I'll dive in ....

I have all the color codes and Sherwin-Williams formulas for 2002 thru 2011 but I'm not sure what color you are looking for. Of course I'm only talking US colors.

please don't send me a computer picture because the color accuracy of that can be altered in 1 second . . .

You can take a sample of your color to a good auto paint supplier and they will computer match it just like they do at Home Despots for wall paint (they have a gun they carry out to the car that does the same thing the HD machine does). But you need to find a GOOD auto paint supplier in your neighborhood. Start with the yellow pages under 'automobile paint'

I'm an Autobody guy by trade, part owner in a shop. I just don't have access to the European paint codes. I'm going to just go with the standard Dark Green BRG code GN. 29 in a satin finish. It'll be close enough I think, thanks for the reply though.

 

try asking over on MINI2.com

They get a higher number of European players there. It is the EU version of NAM...well, run out of Canada it appears but many EU players anyway.

 

The paint code is GN 18 for the JCW WC50

I don't believe the JCW F1 is code GN 18 as that is the Connaught Green not the BRG. I would have thought the same thing but it clearly states on the spec sheet it is BRG.

NOPE - the sticker is wrong. The WC50 is NOT BRG it is Connaught Green
