I thought the cabins were held for repeat bookers for two weeks. Did they open up new reservations early or was I wrong about the two week thing?

I just called and wanted to upgrade from my lodge room to a two bedroom cabin. They said the only thing available at this time was a two bedroom for 229.00 a night (OUCH!, daughter will just have to put up with the snoring!!)

So I continued the Lodge room reservation and asked to be put on the list for an upgrade to a two bedroom Laurel Cabin.

There was some mis-information going around. One version that we had two weeks, the other magic date was the 9th. Looks like the 9th was correct one.

I called right at 9am as when I called at 8:58 they said wait until 9, I was told the only 2 bedroom cabin left was the expensive on with fireplace and stuff so we ended up with a 2 queen in the lodge, all kings were booked. Kinda bummed as I tried really hard to get the very few open cabins when booking opened, but good news is that I will be there.

The magic date appears to have actually been the 8th. I called this morning to reserve the same lodge room but it was gone. She said I only had until yesterday. Semantics I guess. Did manage to get a fireplace room for $109 though.

I called today May 9th around 10am and spoke with Teresa...She seemed frazzled and impatient with me!! I Kinda felt rushed!!! "Its all good" I don't blame her!!! Ring, ring, Ring!! I guess the phones must have been ringing off the hook!!! because as she is telling me about a Cabin called Cedar...and I was just about to get it!!! She said during or conversation the Cabin was sold!! WOW!! so, I picked up a member time/share 2bed/2bath at $199 this is going to be fun!!!

I called Friday with a couple of questions and was told they opened at 8 a.m. today. Called at 8 and was told it was 9. Called at 8:59, got on hold and scored a Willow cabin. Hooray, I'll be there next year.

I called at 9:03 AM Monday and was put on hold for about 10 minutes. I was able to score a 3BR/2 BA Magnolia cabin. Already have one of the smaller bedrooms called for. I'll post if the other one(s) come available.

The lodge rooms were able to be booked when you checked out . We booked same room before we left this year.
