Looking for someone in the San Diego area with NCS Expert experience
Hey guys and gals. I'm looking for someone in the San Diego area that can help me program the LED lights on the alarm to come on. I have a 2008 base cooper w/o the factory alarm. But I'd like to program the car to activate the LED lights to heartbeat blink. I found a thread on the NAM site that explains this but I don't have the software to do it. WayMotorWorks does it but I am in San Diego. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
You could join the West Coast Mini club on yahoo groups or Facebook
and ask them, or SCMM. ORG and ask there. Both of those clubs have knowledgable members.

Sounds good! I recently installed some suspension components and some really nice R98 webspoke wheels on my MC. I would love to see what others have done and get some ideas for future mods. Would love to hit up one of the meets!
Details on your suspension upgrade. Last time we talked weren't you thinking of trading in your mini. I assume you decided against that. Did you do the work yourself?
spooky, you should really come out and join us. I had a great time last weekend with the SCMM group.
I also told them that I'm looking into NCS expert, and as soon as I get win XP on my MacBook, I'll be able to play around with it.

Hey guys and gals...sorry I've been away from my computer. Yes, I would really like to come out and join you guys.
I bought some NM engineering springs and thought about doing it myself but decided to have them done by the dealer. I got a really good deal on installation at Mini of San Diego. It is a night and day difference in the way the car handles. I also got a good deal on some R98 webspokes. I had them refinished by a group up in Vista, CA. They re-machined the lips and got rid of some of the curb rash. I painted up the brake calipers red. Also picked up some Michelin 215/45/17 tires. The car rides nice, handles really well and I am very pleased with it.
@kanakaboy92...I was thinking about doing the dual boot on my mac as well, but I am not sure what cable you need to plug into the cars computer? Doesn't the computer need a serial port?
