Dogs in the back

For you dog owners out there, how does your dog like the back? Do you fold the seats down and if so do the seats tend to bounce up on a bumpy road?

I have a clubman so there is more room but if the seat are up in a coop then it would have to be a VERY VERY VERY small dog to fit in the back behind the seats.

My seats are down all the time as my 98 pound Great Pyrenees/Yellow Lab Mix will not even fit in the Clubman with the seats up. I find that the seats do not bounce when down even without him on them but then again i dont drive on REALLY bummpy roads.

I'm sure this may not have helped you but DOGS LOVE TO MOTOR so what ever you have to do to make them comfortable is worth while.

While on the topic of dogs in the back... Is it possible to fit a golden retriever in the back of a MCS?

I've just placed an order for a pepper white MCS. Coming from a VW scirocco, where my 77 pound retriever could sit comfortably in the front seat.. I kinda wonder if I made the right choice..

With the rear seats folded down, I see no reason a Golden wouldn't fit back there. I have two Springers and they both ride back there to go to the groomer from time to time. I can also get two big hockey bags back there. Again, all with the rear seats down.

I put my 2 dogs in the back seats. I have laid the seats down but the smooth carpet makes the girls slide around. Now the just fight over who gets to sit where. I have a 40lb American Staffordshire Terrier and a 75lb Black Lab.

Our Sheltie loves the back of the Mini. But she also loves the back seat in our Audi A4 Convertible (when the top is down) so I suspect she would love riding around in a Studebaker if I had one.

I put the seats down and toss a sheet I carry in the back so shedding on the back of the seats is minimal. She doesn't slip or side.
