New mini owner in Jacksonville

Hey picked up my mini last thursday and loving every minute of it.

I live on the northside of Jax in the oceanway/pecan park area. I just moved here to florida/jax area mid january after living in Indiana for 25 years. Been loving the weather

I know and now i have A/C with the mini. My last car was so modified that i had no a/c or power steering. Was starting to get stuffy with the 90 degree days that's been going on lately.

Not going to get that severe with the mini modifications

I work in the mandarin area, so the mini is great for that 70 mile round-trip until I find a better spot to live.

The only downfall of moving down here so far is how vast Jacksonville is and how much driving i have to do, but now I have the mini i am loving all the driving. The only other problem is I had to move back in with my parents after 5 years out on my own. Until i get my footing back down in this town then I can get into the better areas of the city.

I was born in Logansport, IN but never really lived there.
Came down to FL in 56 and have been naturalized as a Cracker.
Haven't done much in Jacksonville execpt go to the Amelia Island Concours.

AGH! My hometown is Monticello! My dad's sister lives in logansport.
I graduated from Purdue in Spring of 2010 and lived in West Lafayette for 5 years, until I moved down here with mom and dad. Dad got a job here last August being head of operations for the port side on blount island.

And I was hired to shoot the Amelia Concours this year for a tuner company based in Oregon. My first photo client upon arriving in Jacksonville. I am a photographer apart from my full time web designer job in Mandarin. Concourse de'elegance was awesome to see for first time!

Mom, aunt went to Purdue.
Lost my mom 10 years ago and had to go to West Lafayette in the middle of Jan.
Never been so cold in my life.
Nice to meet you.
Gregg Woodruff on this end.

Cool Cool.
haha. When I got here mid January it was probably 50 degrees?
That is short weather for us. I was running outside with my shirt off and passing people in coats and gloves! I got a laugh, but I know in about a year or so that will probably be me as I get acclimated to the weather in Florida.

Use to go swimming on Christmas day.
Now I sit in the Florida room with 3 blankets, 1 sweather, 1 sweatshirt.
Just thought, FL is only state with a room of it's own.
