i was jw if there was a good muffler i could use to replace the original without getting a full exhaust and get a good sound ? . i know its kind of hard because of the left right offset u cant really get a regular muffler or can u ? lol . please help !?

 

On Feb 4th, I purchased an '02 MC R50 for $2800. I got 36mpg with a rusted exhaust, squealing brakes, a faulty plug wire, and a low oil pressure light reminding me that at <2000 rpms, my engine wasn't getting lubed and a wrecked front end that whistled above 40 mph... ... After $5000 in repairs and replacements for brakes, exhaust, plugs/wires, front bonnet replacement, tires, air filter, windshield... I'm sitting at 30mpg tops. My rear spindles/bearing whine... My car back fires a "POP-POP" after a medium acceleration... Yes sir, I installed the Megan exhaust. Do I note a performance increase? Well, it sounds bad *** - sure, but it's an R50. That's like giving a hamster a 5 Hour Energy cola - not much for the effort... But, I miss the mileage!!!! Suggestions? MSD ignition and wires? Please advise!
