2011 MCS Fuel pump
Hello everyone. Is it me or is the fuel pump on the 2011 Cooper s really loud?

Fuel delivery pressure range is 725 - 1,740 psi so that little bugger works pretty hard. It's certainly "tappy" but I'll cut 'em some slack...

Oh I dont mine just making sure if it's normal. I just don't remember my 08's being so loud.

Its the high pitched sound. Just want to make sure its not the normal sound of the fuel pump.

i have the same thing. it's coming from somewhere under the car when i get out and can only hear it when it's quiet outside.
