Too cool 4 school!

I love taking my kids to school in my new MINI! All the crossing guards fight to see who will get to open the cool cars doors to let my sons out! Of course my kids love the attention and it makes me smile too!

People of all ages can appreciate the coolness of a MINI!

Are the kids having an easy time getting in and out with their backpacks (from the back seat)? How about with the top up?
I'm planning on getting the MCsC as well, and have an 8yr boy who gets driven to and from school, this would be the primary vehicle for that.
btw, love the hot chocolate color.

Thats a good question to ask! At first I was worried as I saw my sons metal pieces dangling off his backpack and scraping the side of my car lol so I got smart really fast! Let your son shove his backpack in the trunk before he gets in! PROBLEM SOLVED! That works awesome... he can open the trunk by himself and nothing gets scratched! I live in rainy seattle for a couple more months so I haven't had the joys of being topless yet! Backpacks are totally doable!!

Thanks for the super fast reply! If you ever take a longer road trip in it, I would love to know how the boys felt being in the back seat that long. Also, if you managed to fit all the bags-n-stuff. While my husband has the larger vehicle, though, I couldn't imagine not having driving the fun car on a destination trip. Seems there are hitches and small trailers available on the market for MINIs as well. Anywho, would love your thoughts and input.

LOL well.... I'll let you know soon! We are driving my mini to cali this summer. Moving with 2 dogs 2 kids 2 adults! CRAZY!!!!

If you only have one kid you will be in better shape... you can fold the backseat down in halves... so you can have a ton more space vs that tiny trunk. The trunk is laughable... I love love love my mini but that trunk space is FUNNY!!!

I'm a big costco fan (build buying) and when I got my mini i was freaked out about the space... BUT when you put those seats down you have TONS of room!

Did you see you can also choose to only put the top down part way like a sun roof?! THATS AWESOME!

heh, we've got 4 dogs, but the 2 small ones usually come with us down to fla to visit family there (6 1/2hr drive). Good luck with your move. Goodbye rain, hello sun
