New Motorer on Oahu

Hey everyone, just picked up my 2011 MCS from MINI of Hawaii yesterday, so if you see me on the road, be sure to give me a wave!

Great color choice!! Just like mine when it came off the boat (before I began to wage my war on chrome!) Welcome from the east coast. I will most assuredly wave if I see you.

Aloha and welcome

Greetings Torri and "Little Wing".

Looks fantastic.

Let us know if you have any questions.

But for now you just need to do some motoring and get through the break in miles.

Automatic or manual transmission?

What are you going to do with all that power?

BlackJCW, where did you come from that waved? I also noticed not to many people aknowledge each other on the islands compared to other areas. Im in a dark Grey Mini with gun metal rims, feel free to say hi, i will return the gesture!

In the early years it was common to wave and for others to wave back. In the last three years there are so many MINI drivers it has become very common place and many do not wave since they are used to driving their normal car and no one except enthusiasts will take the time to do anything but drive along and keep to themselves.

In the past small children would come up next to me on the freeway and wave and I would wave back. Children would stand on the street corners and wave as I drove by.

We could start a fad and put a sign or flat on our MINIs that says-

Wave and I'll wave back or "wave me" or Have a Wavy Day.
