I was at Irvine Mini the other day to look at and test drive a base non “S” Countryman. They had two cars in stock; both were automatic equipped cars, a Royal Grey/Black roof with Polar Beige leather and a Pure Red/black roof with leatherette. I sat in the red car first, placed my hand on the wheel and noticed it had paddle shifters; I then looked at the grey car and no paddle shifters. All the info I have read to date states paddle shifters are only included on the “S” model with auto Trans, nothing has shown paddles as an option on non “S” automatic cars. The window sticker on the Red “S” car did show the paddle shifter option and listed it as N/C. Has anyone else come across a non “S” automatic car with paddle shifters?

 

Hmmm I thought only the S models came with paddle shifters?
