Alex, I see your ads now show a new Kosei wheel, the Racer. Can you give me any info on these for a MCS in 16x7? Cost, weight, off set, available in white? Can I use oem lugs or will I need studs? Thanks.

Apexer.....Where did you see these wheels? I have two sets of Kosei Racing wheels....one 16"set for winter, and one 17" set for summer, in white. I checked on the tire rack site, but did not find the "new" Kosei wheels? Could you post the link or pics? Thanks....

Sorry D.D., can't post a picture. Saw the Kosei Racer in Tire Rack's ad in the Feb. 04 issue of Road & Track. Its a 5 spoke, available in 16,17,18 and 19". I'd guess the 16" with only 5 spokes should be light weight. Also has a center hub cover which I like.

Those wheels are not the same as the ones I purchased from Alex at Tire Rack. I cannot comment on those...However, the Kosei K-1 Racing Wheels from Tire rack are very nice and light. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a lighter wheel.

k-1Racing wheels have been around for a long time.
They are 6spoke wheels and lightweight and great for
racing or people on a budget. I use a different
Kosei wheel on my wife's car and have been very
pleased.

Just got a reply from Alex@Tirerack. The Kosei Racer is available in 16", white.
Weight 15lbs $159.00 ea. which includes new lugs & centering rings. Spacers not required. Randy is going to be adding 15% pulley soon and, the Kosei's will be next.
