Pandora Iphone App has Update for Mini Connected

Just updated Pandora App - it says update is for Mini connected and Ford Sync. But plugged in my phone to Mini connected and couldn't see where to find Pandora functionality.

Anybody using this?

I just saw on FB where MINI USA has announced Pandora availability for all 2011 models. More here:

I'm going to guess whatever changes in the app were needed to getting working in the MINIs themselves is being pushed out to all Pandora users.

Rock.... On!

I cannot wait for my new MCS to get here now. The possibility of Pandor integration is why I splurged on the Connected option in the first place.

Good find! I'm glad they had the video and the pdf on there. I would have been wait (needlessly) for a connected update. Turns out the updated version of Pandora is all you need. I'm also glad to see you can use the cable or the snap-in connection.

Agreed, I would've expected it to be part of connected too. It seems like you cannot run Pandora and Connected at the same time. Will have to play with the GF's iPhone and figure it out.

How much data does Pandora use?

Does Pandora use the "Connected Server" for streaming?
Because if it uses your 3G data plan then that could get pricey if you go over your allotted size. I only have 200MB on my ATT plan.

I don't see how it couldn't go through the phone to get data. Never thought about it though as I still have the unlimited plan.

I foolishly went to the lower data plan to save money .. now I regret it because there is no going back to unlimited. I am pretty sure Pandora sucks the megabytes down.
