I had changed my factory radio last week to an aftermarket alpine. The reception sucked. All I wanted was an aux connection for my Droid X. Well I put the factory radio back in.
I looked online to order the aux cable from one of the many vendors and found they wanted like $50.
I also found a diy. Well long story short. I have ordered enough parts to make like 5 of them. If anyone wants one I'll have 4 to give up when I'm done, just pay for the parts.

i made my own for a total of 5 bucks, it works perfectly. but there is no ground loop isolator, so and time i plug my ipod or phone into a charger, the head unit looses the signal , and switches over to F.M.
Awesome if you can make it yourself! I'm more mechanically inclined than electronically so that is impressive to me haha.
Just an FYI, if you order it right from MINIUSA, the part is about $30. I think I paid $35 for the factory part.
