Sitting at lunch today, trying to read a book and just enjoy an hour away from work and I had to be subjected to some loud mouth a-hole at the next table spewing his vile opinions about everything from how Michael Vick got a raw deal on the whole dog thing (cuz dogs aren't people and shouldn't be treated as such, the damn hippie tree huggers!) to 'foreigners' (we were in a mexican restaurant!). I was so disgusted that I asked to be moved out of ear shot of this crude and oblivious person.

Much to my dismay, this "person" (and I use that term very loosely) and his pals were standing around outside as I came out and noticed another MINI parked next to me. Excited, I stopped to get a card out of my purse to leave on the window when I heard one of the guys ask Mr. Obnoxious how he liked his new (new to him I suppose because it was a 1st gen) Cooper. Needless to say, he did not get a card. I guess his good taste and judgment ended at his selection of vehicles.

Now I feel like I can't say that all MINI people are good people because this guy was definitely not a good person. I can only hope that he gets attacked and ravaged by rabid dogs one day. Would serve him right!

 

Oh no, you screwed up girl. You should have invited him, then let us all know the details of his tollbagery douche nozzleness, and we could of have lots of fun with him.

 

If I hadn't been so blind with disgust at what I heard come out of his mouth I probably would have seen the opportunity to really teach him a lesson but, alas, my ire over his inconsiderately spoken words was too great to overcome. Should a second opportunity present itself to "tag" this waste of human DNA then I will surely take advantage.

 

I still think there should be an IQ test to buy a MINI!

 

Just like a broken clock that is right twice a day, even idiots sometimes make the right choice in cars. I bet he's not a 'waver'.

 

I don't know. . .I've known some pretty dumb "smart" people. Just like a lie detector, some people would be able to fool it. I think it should be like the adoption process (and not the "hey, I'm a rich movie star so I'll just buy some kids from a third world" kind of adoption). A case worker does extensive research on your driving habits, your personality, etc. and if you meet the criteria, you get to drink the Kool Aid.

 

LOL!! The only thing I would wave at him is a middle finger.
