I am trying to get my MINI but am having a hard time deciding on a color --
I really like the spiced orange but have yet to see it in person --

Does anyone have a pic of theirs with a black roof?

FWIW my other color choices are hot chocolate, BRG, and pepper white and would love to hear any ups and downs about each color if there are any -- this is a very hard decision !!

 

My dealership has one on the floor...it looks VERY similar to the old Hot Orange, so you might try looking for pics of some of those!

 

I did see on out at Princeton MINI couple of weeks ago. Don't remember roof color, but that Spiced Orange is a sweet color.

If I was in the market for another MINI, it would be on my short list.

 

its totally on my short list and I was at Princeton 2 weeks ago and they said they had one but couldnt find it when i was there... :-(

I really wanted the white camden edition...but i think i missed out - so orange is my second choice...

 

Welcome, I've seen Spice Orange and have to say I like it.

 

I don't have a picture, but did see it at the dealer about a month ago when I was down there. It is a nice color, but in my opinion not as "bright" as most pictures depict it. And as it sits in the shadows of sundown, looks even darker. Seems more of a copper-brown color more than it does orange. So if it is a "spice orange", then the orange is really spiced up. It is a nice color though, I was just hoping for a more orange look...which it isn't.

 

You can order the white silver metallic color on a MINI just like the Camden edition.

can I ask a totally unrelated question -- when you order a mini -- how does paying for it work?

 

You will give a deposit when you place the order.

Once the car arrives, you will pay the remaining balance. If you are financing, your loan will begin at that point.

 

I was at the dealer checking out the Countryman they have to show until the drivable models come, and looked at this color for the first time. It is like a dark rust color. I will have to say it is by far my favorite color in the 2011 Mini color selection!

 

Picked up our Hot Chocolate a couple days ago. Dealer has a couple of the Spiced Orange. Very nice! Their website has pics you can look at in their new inventory www.mininorthscottsdale.com. The interior on the convertible is the same as ours. It looks stunning with the Spiced Orange.

 

My wife took delivery of her Spice Orange S convertible last month. It's a really nice, deep color.

As far as the stripes, not sure if you can buy those from MINI, you'd have to ask your dealer's parts dept or check with vendors that do custom stripes
