Guys,

I need some opinions. I'm thinking of getting TD ProRace 1.2 wheels and I'm having a hard time deciding between anthracite or matte black for the wheel color. The wheels will be 17x7 and the car is a 2010 chili red JCW with a JCW bodykit. What do you guys think? Aggressive matte black or understated anthracite? I've also been hunting for photos of red mini with anthracite wheels, no luck so far.....

I wasn't sure whether to go black or gray either. In the end, I went with gray and I'm glad I did. I've seen a lot of matte black wheels and, in my opinion, I feel the gray is more interesting. Having done the whole blackout thing, I like how my wheels match my gray trim rather then just one more black thing on my car. Sometimes matte black blends in almost too much and it becomes unremarkable. Of course, these are just my opinions. You can't really go wrong with either choice since they'll both look great

Edit: I took a second look at what JBC4317 did. I'm really digging the black wheels with the red out theme!

You're right MaverickGun, this is going to be a TOUGH choice! I am leaning towards TDPR 1.2 Anthracite. Since the wheel arches of the mini are matte black, I figure that the anthracite may have a better contrast. I still have a few days before I have to make a decision, meanwhile i'm trolling the web for photos!! Thanks for your comments guys!

 

My summer rims were matte black, and now that ive had stock silver back on, i MISS it. Not having to clean the wheels every 2 days was AWESOME! I could go like 2 weeks if i wanted lol

 

I like my greys with some polished bits....
