My driver side tweeter is toast in my MCS, crackles at certain pitches in frequency, and drives me nuts!

Anyone removed the H/K setup and have a spare tweeter laying around they want to sell?

No clue, can you still buy the mk1 systems new? I've only seen people selling parts of their systems due to upgrades

Stevendoll, I actually have a spare tweeter. It turned out that after buying a tweeter from someone, it wasn't my tweeter at all. Bought it for $30, shipped, that work for you?

 

Brand new HK tweeter is around $90, available from Pelican parts.
