Showing my r53 some love...

Busy week for the mini , new rear brakes , oil change , new thermostat and gasket , brake and clutch flush , gear box oil change , 4 new conti extreme contact dws (bye bye run flats) and the score of the week a spare doughnut for free ... And next week the chrome trim black out will commence .... This mini sure is keeping me busy but I'm loving it ...

You are right, a very busy week indeed, I'm sure the MINI appreciates your efforts for her, keep up the good work.

How long did it take you to bleed the slave cylinder? Any problems? I saw a great DIY video on YouTube for this job. I'll be doing it soon also.

You should post some pics after the blackout.

Good job on your MINI TLC!

Chad

It was quick using a pressure bleeder , just remove the front engine cover and the slave cylinder is right there, just FYI the slave bleed screw is not like a brake caliper bleed screw , you have to loosen it about 3 full turns to allow fluid to flow out , with a pressure bleeder the brake and clutch flush took all of about 5 mins , although having a lift at my disposal makes every job easyer .
