Roof stripes with these bonnet stripes?!

Hi,

I've got these OEM Silver Stripes on my MINI. I'm wondering if anyone here owns or has seen a MINI with these bonnet stripes that also has coordinating/contrasting roof and boot stripes:

I seems to me that the stripes are too far apart as they approach the windscreen to allow for roof and boot stripes, as the roof and boot stripes would be placed far enough apart to match the gap in the bonnet stripes.

Any thoughts, photos?

Thanks!

I would agree about the roof. But I wonder if you could get some stripes for the boot that look like the stripes are coming back together? Kind of like a mirror image if that makes any sense.

Hi Smurfette26,

I like that idea about the boot stripes. I wonder if this is sort of what you're talking about:

Unfortunately, I've got the Checkmate stripe, when what I think I really want is the Viper stripes. :-) And, they have to go all the way down through the bumpers.

Thanks again for chiming in!

I should have figured Mike would have them! The good thing about having the *wrong* stripes is that it is an easy enough fix. I like the down through the bumper look too.

Maybe find someone who can make the stripes on top into a weave of sorts so that instead of just being wide going over the top they would come together in the center and then be the right width to go down the back. I think that'd be sweet!

Todd can pretty much make you what ever you can think of. He is amazing!!

He certainly could make you a twisted braid for the roof. He can print ANY graphic on vinyl and apply it for you. He is in Kansas but travles to many, many events each year for installs.

MY MINI:

The first pic is a British rail way symbol. Second is custom stripes bumper to bumper with color swap on the roof.

Not sure I'm with you on that style of stripe :-)
