R55 Clubman Spoiler
I am having the JCW spoiler installed on my Clubman next week. Purchased the spoiler at MINI of Nashville and the installer is recommended by them. Will post pics when it's finished. Good Luck!
I thought about getting the spoiler for my Clubman, but I saw a post here saying that the spoiler does nothing to reduce the amount of dust that accumulates on the back, so I decided not to.
I have a Volvo wagon that the addition of a spoiler made a big difference in reducing the amount of dirt accumulation.

In reality, spoilers and wings often provide little more than cosmetic value on street cars; and at those speeds where it does produce an aerodynamic effect (usually faster than we all drive, most of the time), a rear spoiler can actually be detrimental on a front-wheel-drive vehicle...
But, my JCW Clubman has a spoiler/wing (factory equipment) too; the car came with it already installed when I bought it used. And to be perfectly honest, I think the car looks better with it than without it... But where the Clubman is concerned, I couldn't tell you whether there's any real aerodynamic benefit to it at all; I tend to doubt there is, but I'm willing to believe BMW at least ensured that it's aerodynamic effect, at worst, is neutral.

i really like that spiler over the bigger one I've seen. Although it does seem like because of the lip-overhang on the Clubman it's sort of like doubling up... it is reminiscent of my old MINI and I like that!

I have the so-called JCW spoiler (see gallery for pics, and preview below).
I think the trailing lip of the roof already extends too far over the rear glass for the spoiler to add any appreciable effect with respect to keeping things clean...

Very little any wing/spoiler can do with regard to rear dirt accumulation on a vehicle with a "boxy booty" like the Clubman's; just too much turbulent airflow behind it... I've taken mine out on a perfect day, and the only part that gets noticeably dirty/dusty is the back end (barn doors, rear bumper)...
Yup. That's the same one as on mine.

You are all driving way too slow!! The wing is for looks only so enjoy!!!
Great sense of humor Tim!!! I got mine installed this morning and it looks great. Just what I wanted. Oh, by the way, I out ran the dust and dirt all the way home!!!
As soon as I get it cleaned up I'll post some pixs! Have fun all and motor on!!

Wait, there must be two versions because a lawyer in my town also has a Clubman and the spoiler is a simple arch with no pointed ends. Also, all the instructions I've seen online say that you GLUE it on. Is that correct? It isn't bolted on? Wouldn't that make it fragile because the paint is the only thing holding it to the body?

Don't know how any of these things are attached/anchored; it may have a lot to do with whether they're installed at the factory, at the docks (as some JCW accessories are), or at the dealership. In my case, the JCW spoiler was already installed when I bought the vehicle used, so it is what it is for me... So far, no issues with keeping it attached...
Simple arch, similar to mcs version, is bolt on at the factory. Jcw is glue on. This is my disappointed knowledge as I didn't order factory spoiler, but only in error, thinking it came on the s like the coupe, ha
I was really annoyed to learn that the spoiler doesn't come with the Clubman S package as it does with coupe S models. I mean, I'm not steamed at my MA or MINI or anyone but myself. I just didn't notice, and having been a previous S owner, I thought it was standard. I actually am in the apparent minority that LIKES the OEM spoiler on the Clubman. It's a shame it's not available for dealer install. You can get them from minicarparts I think or a few others, primered, but no one wants to install because that design, regrettably, requires bolting through the roof. At least the JCW version is a glue on. But man, I'm with you: what is the deal with the lack of aftermarket spoilers for the Clubman? It's kind of surprising.
