Rear suspension rattle after KONI FSD install

After installation of Koni FSD's I developed rattle in rear of car. Seems to come from both sides in the rear of car in wheel wells over choppy roads. I had them re-installed with new strut top mounts to no avail. Perhaps somewhat better, but worsened over time. Is there a manufacturing issue that changes the tolerance of the top of strut to the mounts to cause rattle? Thoughts...

Are you sure it's the struts rating and not something you disconnected? How does it handle??

Handles great. No other complaints. I took everything apart again, no parts are missing, there is a no obvious source of excessive play.

My immediate thoughts are your sway bar endlinks. Double check their tightness. Are the endlinks stock ?

Sometimes the big nut at the top of the shock loosens up. I had to re-tighten mine twice.

car has now been to 4th place with no diagnosis. Currently at dealer. apparently, the shocks were replaced with another cars, and it still made noise. Not endlinks- were removed and still rattle. Any other thoughts? Cold loose muffler baffles give this effect?

I had something similar once and it turned out being the rear sway bar bushings being worn down and the sway bar hitting.

Did you ever get to the bottom of this?

No, I did not. The car was tested with sway bar disconnected, still a noise. The project was getting too expensive for me, so I gave up. The struts were swapped out for stock- noise still there. So, it looks like perhaps it is the control arm bushings somehow?
