R56 OMG does any one have these?
I just got a well-used Corbeau A4 in a trade for 2 cases of beer. It’s a nice sport seat overall. It feels comfortable and offers excellent side bolstering. I used to have a pair of Sparco Torinos in a Honda Prelude many years ago, and this Corbeau A4 reminds me a lot of that seat in design – although the A4 is better suited to fatter/wider individuals than my Torinos were. The A4 (like the Torino) is a heavy seat with a slider bracket attached. They weigh approximately the same as my stock MCS front seat assembly with pleather, seat heaters, and airbags.
The Corbeau A4 I have has seen better days and is about 5 years old. The fabric (non-suede) and seams have resisted tearing well. But the fabric on the shoulder shows some fading as would be expected. The lower seat thigh bolster padding has not held up well and is mushy and misshapen. The seat is sitting in my living room right now. I intend to a video game driving simulator station out of it.
