Interior Lighting Bulbs
i want to change all the interior lighting, such as the footwells, dome light, boot, and other things to a different color like blue or xenons. I went to autolumination.com but there are so many choices for #194 bulbs, i don't know which to choose. Are all of them #194? Will all of them fit? How many would I need? I rather do bulbs than LED strips, sounds like it is much simpler. Thank You!

When I did mine I used the xenon replacement bulbe for my dome, boot and floor. And the oval wide angle (single led) for my maps and bottom of my doors.
That being said while I really like look of the xenon bulb they're not real bright so you will loose some functionality (especially the dome light) also I did mine 4 years ago and the oval wide led was the only thing they offered that would physically fit for the map lights (also the xenon was the only fit for the dome) but that was then. They have a much larger selection now, with many more (and physically smaller) led selections to choose from.
Basically when I got mine the led's offered were physically larger and even though the connection may have been for a 194 socket the "bulb" (led) surface was to large for the application and now that may simply not be the case. (most of the time the issue is diameter more than anything else, cross refrence their size charts)
Basic rule of thumb led's will be brighter than the xenons in most situations. Also if you want any other color than the xenon white find an led that fits the colored bulbs will eventually burn the coloring off.
