I have looked high and low -- but can't seem to find any traces of an official MINIUSA Facebook or Twitter account. I have found some random dealers, but not an official site. Am I missing something or is MINIUSA just not part of the wide world of social media?

On another note, if you are on Twitter, I would definitely be interesting in hearing and participating in your MINI related chatter. My Twitter handle is @ksaim.

 

They set up 3 twitter for MTTS, and ran them poorly. I don't think they are sure how to use it at this point.

 

MINI actually has a lot of official social media accounts. It seems like they are a little more active on facebook than twitter.

Thanks for those links, it does look like they are active on Facebook, but not really all that active on Twitter. I followed them all at any rate!

Yeah they really are lacking in the social media area. I work in Social media for Texas A&M and I had so many ideas they could have used for MTTS. I mean Foursquare would have been PERFECT for that.

 

Gowalla would have been even better since they have the Trips feature. I bet MINI could have gotten them to make a custom badge and even feature it had they asked.

 

Very true. I just met with a guy from Gowalla on Friday. Half of Gowalla staff are Aggies and the other half are Longhorns.

 

Why doesn't NAM have a Twitter presence? I'd love to update status and read other's posts while on the go. this site is great but not good for a mobile experience.
