Suspension question

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and planning to take advantage of $199 leasing deal.
Earlier this year, I tested drive a 2006 Mini cooper S and the drive was so hash ... even worse than my 2001 4Runner.
I love Mini Cooper S. Does all MC S will be rough like that?
Would the standard MC softer?
Thanks so much in advance!
-Mike

The MINI is a sports machine and it's suspension is designed for such a designation. It is not soft and will not be otherwise no matter which model you select. If it is too harsh for you then I would suggest that you look elsewhere.

I'm owning a vette with full suspension but does not have run flat anymore so it drives much smoother than MC S.

Look like it maybe the run flat issue.
Thanks the post above for the answer! Not sure if I can find anyone with non-runflat to do a test drive.

Where are you? I'm sure there is a member near you with non run flats.

There is a difference between the base Cooper suspension and Sport suspension. Both are very stiff. And yes if you have run flats it makes it even worse... especially if they are Pirelli Euphorias or the Goodyear Eagles.

There also was a JCW suspension option that lowers and stiffens the car. The JCW suspension has red springs. The JCW suspension with run-flat tires is harsh.
