Ethanol/Non-Ethanol - Top Tier fuel

I'm curious to know how ya'lls cars perform using or not using ethanol fuel. I've noticed that my car seems to be more spritely whenever its running on a tank of ethanol fuel whereas it seems to be more sluggish when running on non-ethanol fuel. I guess I just figured that it would run optimaly when I run non-ethanol, Mobile 1 fuel since their a top tier fuel supplier. I don't really buy into the whole top tier gas thing but my "preferred" gas station just happens to be both top tier and non-ethanol. Anyway, just wanted to hear ya'lls take on this...

Firstly are you "sure" there is no ethanol in your fuel or is there simply no sticker on the pump? That said Top Tier requires 10% ethanol. No more. No less.

And since gas has more BTUs/liter it is unlikely that your car runs better on fuel with ethanol. But I do not think the difference can be felt at the seat without some sort of measuring going on.
