I have had my ab/ab R53 since 06 and have never been to any meets or anything like that so sometimes I feel like I am the mystery mini owner that never attends meets and I think it's time to change that. I always see mini's going south on rt. 9 and I think hmmm maybe there is a meet going on I don't know about and they're meeting @ Sonic, I feel left out.
In addition, a 5 guys burgers and fries literally just opened up around the corner from me. It is much more accessible to get to than the one's in Howell. It is located near a Walmart, in the same parking lot and I think that maybe it'd be cool if we organized a meet there. I know there is one planned for the end of this month... but right down the street from the 5 guys.. there is a 24/7 Dunkin Donuts that I frequent and I see Mazda 3 owners congregate at as well as VW owners. Only about 4-5 cars at a time but I always envision a swarm of MINI's pulling up and just mean muggin' them!!

So is anyone familiar with the area I'm referencing??

PS Anyone ever see me around? I'm always "peacin" other MINI's I see but I never get any back

 

I'll *peace* ya baby I'm in the Union County area just bought my Midnight Black MCS will be picking it up the end of next week.

I have friends in the Old Bridge -Marlboro - Princeton area - all Solstice owners - I'm the founder of the Mid-Atlantic Solstice Club, we DO get around - not too many static events, mostly driving.

I'm seeing the future and it's called "Meet, Greet & Motor" with other kool cars. The Pontiac is no longer in production - we're all orphans... need to make lots more enthusiastic friends.

I live in Union county, but we are in Old Bridge about 3 days a week visiting friends...I know of the 5 guys near the Walmart, and wouldn't mind meeting up there.

We're in Aberdeen, not far from Old Bridge at all. We usually try to make the Jackson GTG at the end of each month and are always looking for other MINI friends to do stuff with.

Hey man, Im in Middletown, not far at all from you..id be willing to meet up at five guys

 

I'm in the process of moving to Hoboken, but have lived in the Middletown/Holmdel area right off of 520 for a while. I didn't realize that they opened a 5 Guys up over there, but I'd definitely check it out. Let me know if you ever want to organize a meet. And I'll agree that the Mini owners around here don't seem too friendly.

On a side-note, i've been dying to get over to that Walmart to see if they carry the Autoglym products. I've heard that they have the HD Wax or the Super Resin/Polish kit for $35.
