Picked up my '09 MCS in mid-Oct '09. Just rolled over 43,000 miles today. Anyone do better?

I am planning on 80k by tbe end of the year and then will probably pick up a new one and do it again.

The car is working great for a long distance company cruiser, I have had a small a/c leak and a battery replaced under warranty. No other issues and the brakes and clutch are still going strong. I did swap out the run-flat tires out for some much better Bridgestones at 30k miles, but that was more my preference than need.

 

I've had my MINI since the end of March (104 days now) and it will hit 8,000 this weekend.

 

Took delivery of my 09 on Dec 20th 2008 and hit 45082 today. My daily commute is 100 miles round trip but that is parking lot to drive way and if I go anywhere at lunch it could be up around 150+ per day. I am on my 2nd set of summer tires, had 6 oil changes and the transmission had a leak repaired at just under 3k miles.

 

wow... My mcs 2009 done 8499 miles on 334 days

 

Mines an 07 MC picked it up with 8400 miles on it July of 09 now I am at 39540 July 17 is its birthday with me. So I guess I'm a close 2nd, but no cigar.

 

At 18K in 18 months I feel like I've been parked compared to youse guys!

 

I drive 112 miles round trip pretty much a least 6 days a week, and I have not had one problem with the Mini. I feel lucky compared to some stories that I see.

Wow, I thought 35,000 on mine since Oct '08 was a lot...

 

Rookies, get out and drive!!!! Getting new tires tonight.

 

Oscar turned a year old about a month ago. He's got rougly 25-26K miles on him.

Not a large amount but considering I only live 8 miles from work... there's a lotta miles being put on somewhere...lol.

Hmmm didn't you do like 2, 500+ mile trips to get Jan's tune?

 

NO!!! They were only 450'ish miles a piece....

And when I get back from my cruise next week, I'll be going to GA for another tune and then to VIR for 4 glorious track days.

Haha, i'm sure it was worth it though. I know mine was, I took almost a 400 mile trip for it!

 

I am approaching 7500 and CC just turned 2 months old... I believe that pans out to around 45k a year

As soon as the summer winds down driving will slow but my 60 mile round trip regularly turns into 80+... the fun way is always better

 

I just read a thread where a guy in Milwaukee hit 370,000 miles on his cooper

 

Man, I thought I was going for a high score… 41k+ since March of '09.

 

I have you beat. 07 S with 12,000 miles. You meant low mileage right?

 

I got my MC in March 5, 2010, now it's almost end of July, the odometer reads a little bit over 12000 miles.

 

In the 123 days I've had my Justa (pick-up 3-22-10, today is 7-23-10) I've covered 16,600 miles... which works out to roughly 50k miles in a year
