My shocks are getting close to needing replacement and I'm considering buying a set of H&R Coilovers to replace them. My worry is that I fear that they may be too stiff for the expansion joint riddled daily driving that I do (Burrard Bridge, Lion's Gate or Ironworkers) daily.

Any impression that anyone could share would be appreciated.

I don't have H&R springs on my car but a few in town have and they do like the ride. But maybe they just like it for the lowered looks. When my shocks go, I am considering the JCW suspension. Since we do get snow from time to time, I do need all the height I can get and the JCW only lowers the car marginally compared with the H&R spring kit.

Check out Sizeminiclub.ca or Vancouverminicooperclub.com from time to time. There have been a few used suspension kits for sale as some have had to put the stock suspension back on as their leases expired.
