Quick Sanity Check on a Sirius Install from you experts out there

Folks,

I am installing Sirius in my early 2007 MCS Convertible. I would love to not have to use the Sirius antennae. So, I have followed instructions posted here on how to locate the OEM hook up. I have basically taken out the entire passenger seat and removed a large plate (not shown in any of the descriptions) that houses what I can only assume is my HK system. No dice on locating this hook up. My next move is to lift the carpet. This will definitely take some work. and require me to remove the door sill panels, console, etc.

My question is: Is there a way that I can tell if I even have this setup before lifting the entire floor in search for the hook up? I have read conflicting posts that state that all 07's have the line and posts that state the early convertibles do not. My antennae is a normal base with an 8-10 inch long squiggle coming from the top.

Thanks for your help!

As a 2007 Convertible is a Gen 1 car and this is the Gen 2 Forums you may be better off going over to the Gen 1 forums to ask your question.

Not a problem. We all have these kind of hiccups at times.
