I'm working on my first MINI ( yay) bought it damaged and in the process of repairing and both the driver and passenger airbag went off as well as the drivers belt pretensioner went. I have gotten the drivers airbag, and I know I will have to get the passenger dash one. First question is, does the plastic panel just glue back on? Another question is will I have to pull out the module in the center to replace or can that be reset? Also are their sensors in the front end I will need to replace that originally set off the bags( I cant seem to locate them anywhere on the car or on the net)?Thanks EDIT: I just installed the drivers airbag, and it seems when I push it in like I'm honking the horn, it seems to stick in, at least the left side more than the right....:/

Are you asking about the plastic panel in the steering wheel bag? Or the one in the passenger dash?

Based on this link, there are definitely sensors. It does look like the panel is either glued in, or pressure-fit, but there is nothing on the page for that that really specifies one way or the other.
