What pads to buy? (Hawk HP+ alternative?)

I will change my brakes soon.

For the rotors I'll go with Brembo plains for sure but I am hesitating on what to choose for the pads.

I am looking for a performance pad that I can use on the street.

I've had Hawk HP+ pads on my past vehicle and I was very satisfied with those.

My only concern is the noise they emit when braking and I've heard that the HP+ do a LOT of noise on the Minis.

Anyone have an alternative to suggest to me? Something that gives a really good performance when abused at the track and that can be used on the streets?
Or is there a way to make sure the HP+ will stay silent?

To make the brake pads more quiet, use Disc Quiet on the back of the pads. It generally works quite well. I like the spray version better than the liquid version.

Another pad to consider for the street would be the Carbotech 1521.

Sure, keep them hot all the time, which is next to impossible. Would you consider Hawk HPS for the street use? Its quieter.
