H&R Street Coilovers Clunking

I just got my H&R Street Coilovers, H-Sport lower control arms, and Whiteline Swaybar installed all at once. Now I am getting a CLUNKING noise when I go over bumps at slow speeds. I get the clunk noise both front and rear.

Looking at some older threads here and other forums the top nut on my strut might not be torqued properly.

Does anyone know the proper torque setting for the H&R coilovers, or if the noise is coming from somewhere else?

The H&R nut looks a lot bigger than the stock nut.

Thanks in advance.

I checked with HR for you, they said all factory torque specs should be used!

Grease (silicon) the swaybar and control arms too, just to make sure it is not that.

Thank you, Alex. Where do I find stock torque settings for the suspension?
I assumed it was different because the nut on the H&R strut is larger than the stock strut.

Did you change your endlinks too or are you running the stock ones?

^^I'm on stock endlinks too and they bang around alot. Maybe just another thing to check, but it would probably only be the front knocking if it was the endlinks.

Have a look at the paint of the springs, if its missing in some places: you can use vynil tube sliced along its lenth and ziptied onto the spring. This has worked for spring clunk (where dead coils rub eachother) for me before.
Think vynil jacket... Endlinks sound more likley

I checked my endlinks again. The front endlinks came loose from the swaybar. I guess it wasn't torqued properly. I also tightened the rear lower strut mount to 103 lbs.

All of the noise is gone except for the raking I am doing with the air dam. I might have raise it a little. Weird thing is the passenger side springs settled lower than the driver side.

Thanks everybody.
