Subwoofer idea! (Pics)
...For those who value their precious cargo space more than their passengers, LOL. Actually it's not bad on the passenger at all, as long as they don't mind not sprawling their legs way forward.

This is a sealed box made to fit in the trunk of a NA ('90~'96) Mazda Miata, in the left-side fender-well. It has an 4-ohm, 8" Tang Band sub in it, and it's stuffed with polyfill. When properly driven--I was using about 400w in the Miata, it produces excellent deep and punchy bass...not hollow-sounding boominess, like, say, a Bazooka tube. And, this was in the Miata, where there the sound had to pass through a metal bulkhead from the trunk; and where there is no cabin gain, because there is no cabin! I haven't actually hooked it up at all, but I can only imagine how good this thing will sound in the footwell of a MINI!! Tang Bands, BTW, are made to handle just about anything you can throw at them. They are very efficient, have very high excursion, and they're just AWSOME subs. And, they're relatively cheap.

Oh, I don't even subscribe to this thread now. I think it's a STOOOPID idea! I've no idea what I was thinking! Joking aside, it's kinda heavy and it fits kinda tightly into place w/o securing it. Even so, I would probably stick some sharp points of some kind into it--on the sides and bottom--so it could anchor itself into the carpet/floor mat and not "walk". BTW, I don't know if I'll ever actually do this...I was just impressed at how well it fit there and thought I'd share.
This looks Great!!! I'm going to take a picture of my setup and show you I have a MTX 9515 in a Ported Box + the 4 seats of my car. haha.
I like how there's grills on your box too, so their fit won't break the sub Lol. Looking Great though!
