Does the Mini have a programmable garage door button?

It's small enough without having to put a big ugly remote in the cockpit.

Thankie!

I used a strip of velcro to fasten my opener to the underside of the switch-block in the center console. Totally hidden.

Unfortunately MINI does not currently offer the "Homelink" transmitter from factory. Our other car came with it and it is great. MINI can offer the Homelink transmitters that are embedded in the driver's side sunvisor...they fold away very easily and out of sight.

I hate the "brick" sized remote garage/gate openers sold in the market. I am currently looking for a keychain sized transmitter that I can take with me and not leave in the car (When thieves break into cars, the first thing they look is for the garage/gate opener to be able to drive away in the vehicle).

MINIUSA: if you are reading these boards (We know you do) please add the Homelink transmitter option for the MINI in our "Wish list" for improvements.

I have a Sears garage door opener. When I moved in my house two years ago, I went to Sears and bought two new keychain sized remotes. I just unprogramed all the old remotes and put the new ones in. These remotes are very small and one resides in the ashtray of my MINI.

Fatbob, do you have the model number of the small keychain sized remote garage opener that you bought in Sears?

I might head to Sears later on today to pick up a couple. Thamks!
