suspension installer in Denver Colorado?

looking for a shop that can install springs, front and rear endlinks, and a rear swaybar.

i have looked at the do it yourself installer guides, honestly how hard is it?
taking apart is no problem for me, but putting back together is the problem.
any suggestions?

The first thing is to make sure you have all the right tools. If you can take it apart, you can definetly get it back together. I just finished putting H&R sport springs, H-Sport competition rear sway bar and H-Sport adjustable rear lower control arms on with no previous suspension experience. I only used my body weight (160 lbs.) as a spring compressor without any problems. You will need someone there to start the thread of the nut while you hold the strut hat on though. Just read the installation threads here and you should have no problems. The job really isn't that hard. If your springs don't come with new bumpstops, make sure you cut yours down about 3/4" - 1" from the top. I had to take mine back apart to do this. If you have any specific concerns just post them here and you will get answered (usually) quickly.

I have done installs for a few members here(and countless others at events and pulley parties) if you don't want to tackle it yourself.

I have tools/jacks/stand but no longer have a garage, so it would be a house call.

Let me know if you are interested.

I can verify that Brian does excellent suspension work and has experience with all of the components you will be installing. He has done installations on my R53, and I highly recommend using him for the work!

Hi there guys. I am also looking for a shop to replace my stock springs to H&R sports. I did replaced my own shocks and springs before on my bimmer looong time ago (10 years ago) but I just don't have air tools available. Do you guys think I need air tools for the job? or can I just do it home? Is there DIY guide available somewhere?

Thanks!

I always end up using a cordless impact for the shock tops, but thats it. Air tools help, but aren't necessary. This shows a spring install on an R53 which has the same suspension. They use a spring compressor in this howto but I have done all of my installs without it. You just might need a friend to help push down on the shock top while you screw the nut on.

Also, if you do decide you need help, give me a PM or email me(modsfrombrian@gmail.com). I have done installs for many of the members here.

Awesome! Thanks

I will probably get an electric impact tool to work on the suspension faster. If I run into any problems or so I will post it up. Again thanks for the help.
