WT buy or rent your Hazet 21mm strut socket.

I am stuck in the middle of my suspension changeover because the special strut socket I bought is too fat to fit into the opening below the dust cap on the front struts of my 04 Cooper. It's a special tool that's about $100 from BMW. If you have one I'd like to buy or rent (name the price, shipping on my dime).

I bought an extra socket and turned the diameter back to fit in the hole.
Worked great with an air impact (kept it from spining). If you know any
machinists who can help or I could just mail it to you and you mail it back.

Thank you for the offer. I just found someone local who'll let me use it.

I use a cheap 21mm 1/2" dr socket with flats ground on the sides. Then I use a crescent wrench to turn the socket with an hex wrench through the drive hole.
