Navigation & Audio Anti-theft stereo
Does anyone know if the HK system will have a removable face? I read that the standard mini stereo is an anti-theft system, so I think it wouldn't be worth it for me to upgrade if the new system isn't protected. Oh also, does the Hk system have a multiple cd changer?
The HK will not have a removable face. It is protected though just like the regular one is.... if someone was to remove the deck and then try to re-install they would have to know the code and retype it in to have the deck work. If they don't have this code, the deck is useless to them!

Uh, that's not how the standard stereo is protected, at least not on US models. There is no code to type in.
I think the stereo needs to be unlocked by some communication from the car's electronics, but I'm not sure offhand.

Of course the little thugs who steal your radio won't know any of this and we'll still have gaping holes in the dash with wires hanging...
If criminals were smart, we wouldn't catch as many as we do.

Check your manual that comes with your car... it's right there.
