Look at the bolt pattern on top of your strut towers, You'll notice that they match the plates. The Camber bearing is then offset towad the center of the car.

If you look at the stock camber bearing (you can see it through the hole in the top of the strut tower) you will notice it is aligned with the hole. The IE plates will, again, offset it toward the center of the car.

what is the correct alignment!!!

Hi all,
I installed a set of irland engineering support plates to avoid the mushroom problem but I need to know the best set up for alignment( This is my driving style:80 % straight (Monday to Friday) & roads 20% curves (Weekends).

Also,

I notice that the driver side hits the inside wall,
anyway knows how to correct this?

thanks in advance.

This problem has been seen before. On the earlier R53's the inside of the tower has to be massaged to clear the spring.
