R52 Passenger side top won't release

Passenger side top won't release

I have a 05 R52, tried to put the top down today and the sun roof on passenger side will not release.
I removed the linkage cover over and noticed that an actuator slide is not retracting. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance

I have the same problem. When I tried to open the roo, the passenger side stuck and something snapped before I knew what was happening. How did you open the linkage access panel? All I could figure out was how to get to the motor, which was working just fine. I have to believe that there must be a home fix.

Sunroof won't open on right side

Hi, Fortunately for me I got the dealer to do the repair for free, my car had just come off warranty. The problem is probably a broken cable. Try contacting "alpinamike" on this forum. He has done the repair before and might
be able to walk you through it.
