They make no claim at being wider angle than the OEM convex mirrors. I think they are meant as a straight replacement for a broken one, or if you want to put convex on the drivers side.

Well I currently have the OEM regular non convex flat mirrors and was debating if I should pay for the expensive MULTIVEX mirrors or go with these $10.

Thx in advance

You don't even have the standard convex mirror on the passengers side? By law, they have to come that way from the factory.

The Multivex is very wide angle and worth it on the passenger side. It eliminates the blind spot and makes a big difference in my convertible. On the drivers side some people like it but it was too extreme for me (tricky to judge distance). I've never had a problem with blind spots on the drivers side and I stayed with the flat mirror (Multivex allows 90 day return). However if you can handle Multivex on the drivers side, it is so wide angle that you almost don't have to turn your head.

I have no idea... i bought a brand new convertible back in 07 and been driving it ever since with OEM flat mirrors.

So i'm thinking either Multivex or these ebay ones.. honestly.. anything that's NOT Flat i'll be happy with..

If you purchased a US spec car, the passenger mirror is slightly convex by law. Hence the "closer than they appear" warning inscribed on it...

You're under warranty. If you go to the dealer and tell them your passenger side didn't come with a convex mirror, they will replace it for free. At minimum, you should do it to get the mirror.

In addition, you should also consider a Multivex on the passenger side. On the convertible, with the huge blind spot, it is a huge improvement for everyday driving.

I purchased my convertible at Prestige Mini in New Jersey.

They are really flat mirrors to me... ok i'll give them a call tomorrow and see if they'll change it for me for free or whatever.

Thanks for the advice and your time.

If your passenger mirror is indeed flat, it would be considered a manufacturing defect and covered under warranty. Does it have "objects are closer than they appear" imprinted?

Now that you mention it and looking at the mirrors, you are right. The passenger side mirror does say "objects..." But I honestly don't notice the convex in the mirror, it's just ever so slight I guess.

Ok well then i'll just go ahead and order both driver and passenger multivex since i want to go wider than OEM convex.

Thanks again for all your help.
