Looking to buy a passenger side or complete set of mirror caps (any color). My passenger side was likely stolen Saturday night/Sunday morning in New Brunswick.

Well, I was going to be going up to the Westfield gathering on Thursday, but I just got a call from a guy who wants me to fill in for him on a job that he can't make at 8:30PM on Thursday...so that run got squashed.

Unfortunately this week is pretty much booked up during work day evenings with the exception of Friday. The only other option that I can think of is you might want to post in Vic's "Starbucks" thread to see if anyone might be heading up that way from somewhere close to me (Manchester, NJ). I could possibly drop them off with someone who is going up to Vic's Thursday meet and you could pick them up there.

If none of the above works, perhaps we could meet somewhere at noontime. My work schedule is somewhat flexible. I work right around the corner from the Jackson outlet mall where all the Mini's meet in the summer for Freddie's "Drive-N-Eat" events.

Tell me what works for you and I'm sure we can get them into your hands somehow in quick order.

By the way, have you or anyone that you know of ever installed new Engine motor mounts to reduce the torque motion of the engine when you give the car gas or back off? When I have my hand on the shift lever and either step on the gas or back off the gas I can feel the lever move a considerable amount. This can't be good for the manifold and exhaust system.

 

Jackson Outlets are just over an hour round trip from where I work, so that could easily work for me one day this week. Let me know what works for you since you're really doing me the favor.

I've never touched the mounts on the mini, but I have on other cars. You need jack stands and a jack or two so you can take the weight off the mounts to remove them. That's all I can offer you in terms of how to do that...

 

Why don't we cut the distance in half and meet somewhere in between so you don't end up giving up a full hour of your time. No problem here on this end and I feel that perhaps my job requirements just might be a little more flexible than most.

So pick a place...perhaps somewhere out on Route 9 (I'm guessing that Rt. 9 might be a convenient location easily accessible to both of us.), and a day and we'll make the exchange.
