Love the rims, and the nice driving lights
Tell me ... is that an aero kit all around? is that why your front and sides look different?
That is the JCW Clubman Aero Kit ALL the way around and inclusive of, front bumper, upper and lower grills, black grill trim, side skirts and rear bumper. I'll get better pics later. It makes the car about 2" lower in front and feathers back to about 1" lower in the rear. NO, the car is not lowered with springs, just the Aero kit sits lower than the stock bumpers and side skirts.
maacodale,
As for the run on Saturday, I would LOVE to come but Saturday is my daughters 2nd birthday and we are having a party for her. I will definitely catch up with Tarheel MINIS soon.
Great looking car! I love the rims and how the contrasting color of the hood scoop pops on the red hood. I don't think that aero kit would last long on the roads in Brooklyn. I've scraped the little plastic piece that hangs down below the engine a few times already, that lip would be toast in no time

Looks great though!
Thanks!
With the JCW Aero kit, that big piece of rubber under the front bumper gets removed...although that lip is about 2" lower though. The bonett scoop is the JCW Carbon Fiber Bonett Scoop
Are you adding spoiler and stripes as per your sig pic?
I just put the Bonnet stripes on yesterday and it looks great! I haven't put the boot stripes on due to the car was dirty and I want to wash it first.
I decided NOT to go with the Roof Spoiler. After much debate, I like the roofline without the spoiler. PLUS the JCW spoiler only sticks to the roof with double sided tape...didn't see this as a good long term piece of equipment.

Reason: typo

Not that I'm trying to change your mind or anything, but just so you know, the spoiler does not just go on with tape. It uses a very complex polymer adhesive (from the aerospace industry apparently). Once it's on, it's on for good.
If you follow the links in my signature, I've got pics of the install...
