That's because it is.

FWIW, this is the 60th NAM Monthly Photo Contest. With that in mind I did briefly toy with the idea of "60" as a topic.

Thanks for organising all this, I've only been around for about 20 competitions, but it is a lot of fun.

This topic was used in January 2006's contest. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...o-contest.html

After 60 contests, there has to be a duplicate here or there.

I hear ya... I saw a clump of dirty snow on the freeway that had fallen off of a semi this morning. Got so excited, I almost stopped right then and there to take a pic! (we don't get snow in Phoenix either )

Yet another contest I'll have to pass on....
Alabama might get snow maybe in late February or March.
Our "Winter" is basicly cold, rainy and muddy.
I was hoping it would be along the line of "Christmas Lights" or "JOY of Motoring", ya know, holiday stuff-
Oh well, maybe next year

So why can't you take a picture of cold, rainy & muddy?
Why does everyone think "winter" has to be "snow"?

Good timing, the last storm covered most of the country: Frigid temperatures follow heavy snow into Midwest
...The storm drenched California in rain, blanketed the mountain West in snow and shattered snowfall records in Flagstaff, Ariz. earlier this week. ...
I got about 2 inches, hard to really tell with 74 mph gusts!
Those of you without snow, if it's below freezing, spray water on your car!

Not much snow here either, others said, you just have to get creative. This was my last year's verion:

I just got an entirely different idea for this year. We did just have a bit of snow, down to 500 ft, if I'd have found the right angle I might have managed snow covered peaks in the background.

Don't have a picture of me driving in the snow but here's a picture of what a Mini looks like after you've driven in some snow LOL:

The Rules and Submission Instructions link is broken, all I get is "Page not found". I think I uploaded my photo to the right place.

Yea... go to the top left and click 'Gallery' button, (next page) near top left click 'My Photos', (next page) near top right click 'Upload Photos', (next page) see if you have enough disk space first, in the Upload Photo box top choice "Choose a catagory..." 'v' button to far right click '2009 December Photo Contest ...'. 800x500 size max.

Been awhile since I've entered.

This is one of my "Winter Parked In The Street" out-takes. hint

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
